Frizzy Hair? Six Of The Best Products!

Happy Wednesday!

If you have curly, wavy hair like me then the slightest amount of rain, heat, or central heating can cause all you hair to feel dry and get frizz. With summer not so long off and many of my readers and followers are also from warmer countries, so it's all about smooth and hydrated - manageable hair we all long to have.

These six great anti-frizz products will keep your hair moisturized and won't weigh your hair down, and actually work. I have tried and tested them all!

At No. 6, John Freida Frizz-Ease Original Serum is only £6.40 and is value for money with a pleasant smell.

No. 5 is Nanokeratin Re-Invent Leave In Conditioner and costs a hefty £25.55. I loved this product and will use it again.

No. 4, Alterna Bamboo Smooth Frizz Correcting Styling Lotion, A very nice product that costs £16.24.

No. 3, Davineo Momo Moisturizing Anti Frizz Fluid, just a dollop of this smoothing cream after towel drying your hair will detangle and hydrate from root to tip. Costs $22 and available from Barneys.com. The bottle is plain and not very attractive, but the product is great.

No. 2, It's a 10! Miracle Leave-in Product, this costs a whopping $34. But like its name, it's a 10 from me!

No 1, my favourite, and at the top of my list is Bumble and Bumble Defrizz. It costs $25 dollars and is available at Sephora.com. A must try!

Hope you find the list handy for the next time you go shopping. Don't let a bad hair day spoil your mood. These great products will have you feeling like a princess with silky, glossy hair.

Keep smiling and have an awesome day.

Love and Peace.

Sexy Spring Colours For Your Lips!

Happy Tuesday,

The Bank Holiday weekend was long. The weather, not so great because Katie caused ''havoc.'' No, that is not Katie Hopkins but Storm Katie, which destroyed roofs from buildings, uprooted trees and crushed cars. Well, glad it's over now the big job of a clean-up, but at least it keeps people employed!

With Spring in the air and all our pretty dresses can be worn again, time to renew our shades of lipsticks. I can confess I have lipsticks that are more than three or four years still in my makeup bag! I just did a clean up and got rid of them all! Lipsticks should not be kept and used for more than a year!

Lippy's are not too expensive and it's fun to add a few to your collection in every season. These are the most fashionable colours this season. Remember, if you go for dark eyes, keep the lipstick light and bright lips ask for light make up!

1. Lip gloss in Vida Loca / 20 pounds / Liberty.co.uk
2. Gucci Moisture Rich / 40 dollars/ Neimanmarcus.com
3. Cream lipstick matte / 21 dollars / Beauty.com

5. Rouge Sculping lipstick / 30 dollars / Belk.com
6. matte lip color / 24 dollars / isaacmizrahi.com

Keep smiling with all these pretty lip shades.

A quote from Dr. Suess always helps to pick me up when I'm feeling depressed over anything. It's probably one who've heard before. ''Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.''

Have a wonderful day and keep smiling!

Fun Easter Visit To Brighton!

The Easter holidays are a fun time, especially with family and children and a break near the sea. Cannot get better than being on holiday at Brighton. A nice walk down Brighton pier, makes no seaside visit complete if you don't try your luck at the Arcade games. The fish and chips is especially divine except for all the seagulls who wanted a taste of some as well.

Relaxing in a nice deck chair and you must head to Sea Life Brighton to get better acquainted with all the creatures of the deep blue sea. Including an octopus, a sea horse, and a giant turtle.

There's the Volks Railway which is the country's oldest operating electric railway. It's a beautiful ride all along the seafront.

Hove Museums is not far and has a special display of Star Wars toys for all fans of the Epic Movie series. There are a number of activities for the kids to make bunny ears or an Easter bonnet.

Brighton Marina is a spectacular place for all enthusiastic boat watchers. It's not San Diego, but I absolutely loved it and I couldn't help but think of the great sea-side towns of the USA. There are a wide variety of restaurants, water sports, bowling alleys and a cinema.

It's possible to enjoy all traditional seaside activities. Eating an ice cream, skate boarding, and a having a little sing song, ''Oh, I do love to be beside the seaside..''

The Booth Museum has a lovely display of birds and butterflies and is exciting for children of all ages to explore the exhibits.

Last of all, Borde Hill Gardens is a beautiful estate to explore with gardens filled with colourful displays of gorgeous flowers and they are hosting n Easter Egg hunt, complete with an appearance of the Easter Bunny! My Easter could not get any better than seeing the joy on the little ones faces and all the delights of Brighton!

Have an awesome weekend and a Happy and Holy Easter with much love from me to you. Keep smiling!

Delicious Homemade Chocolate Brownies!

Good Morning  / Afternoon / Evening / Night, wherever you are in your day. I hope it was peaceful!

Today my thoughts and prayers go out to all the people of Brussels, those who were victims, the families and all those who have to live there in fear of more terror.

Let peace and love always be our goal!

A delicious recipe I have always used to bake brownies for my children, I want to share with you. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
  • oil, for greasing
  • 350 g dark chocolate, broken in small pieces
  • 250 g unsalted butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 250 g dark brown sugar, preferably muscovado
  • 100 g plain flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  •
    Recipe:
    1. Heat the oven to 170°C/gas 3. Lightly grease a 22cm square cake tin.

    2. Melt the chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl set over a pan of simmering water.

    3. Whisk the eggs and sugar together for 2-3 minutes until smooth and fluffy.

    4. Fold the chocolate mixture into the egg mixture.

    5. Sieve the flour and baking powder into the mixture and stir to mix. Pour the mixture into the cake tin.

    6. Place on the middle shelf of the oven and bake for 35 minutes until the surface is set. It is cooked when it just starts to crack on the top. Remove from the oven. Allow to cool completely in the tin.

    7. Slice the cake into squares and store in a tin or in a container in the fridge.

Keep smiling and have a good week ahead!

    Love & Peace.

I feel lucky to be a woman with a wide range of choices in fashion. Girls can wear jeans/trousers and no one blinks an eye, a man on the other hand is very restricted! He cannot wear a dress! Today, Djokovic made a statement about women earning the same as male tennis players - maybe he has a point. A woman is different to a man. The females don't play five sets. They don't pull in as many telly viewers and the males draw a much bigger audience to the arenas. They should earn more, but not millions! The prize money is a sin to the standards of normal people and society. So maybe both the men and women should shut up and feel lucky they make that much money!

Have an awesome day and keep smiling!

Spring Equinox, Palm Sunday & Hope For Change!

    Happy Sunday!

Day of rest and relaxation. If you are Catholic, you would know today was Palm Sunday. The last Sunday in lent before Easter. Jesus went through Jerusalem on the back of a donkey and everyone waved palms and lay it down on the road for him, in welcome. If you have welcomed someone into your world without expectations, be blessed! Today was also the Spring Equinox when day and night is of equal length. This is a time when people want to re-balance their lives, restructure and re-organize. The equinox brings strong, new energy and a chance for change. In the words of Charlie Chaplin, (one of my favourite quotes!) ''Nothing is permanent in this wicked world, not even our troubles.'' Such a reassuring quote we can and will find sunshine!

Hats off to the strong and those able to take a stand. Change is not far away. Maybe Mr Duncan-Smith is starting it? Another historic moment today - Obama becoming the first U.S. president in 90 years to set foot in Cuba. Who would have thought that would have happened?

Prince Harry visiting Nepal today and giving comfort to all those people who lost all their houses and possessions in the horrific earthquake, last year on the 25th of April. Harry's words, ''Yes, you are lucky to be alive!'' Poor people, not so lucky I think to lose everything and not have anything to call your own and still be in limbo a year on!

In other news, what was actually the purpose of Eddie Izzard running 27 marathons in 27 days other than impressing everybody and the world? Maybe he should be actually doing something more purposeful with his life. Maybe building homes for the homeless. Making sure that London does not have so many homeless people on the streets. The BBC documentary, ''Rich, Famous, and Homeless'' was very eye-opening and maybe more people should be helping to prevent homelessness in this day and age. Everyone is entitled to a home above their head and if that is not a priority, the world is not a better place and nobody is lucky just to be alive.

If you can't find a good person, be one!

Have an awesome day and keep smiling!

Fitness Clothes: Be Stylish & Get Fit & Eat Everything :)

Good Morning / Afternoon / Evening / Night, wherever you are in your day. I hope you are smiling!

With the weather getting better every day, I decided to take a long jog to work out all those chocolate muffins I've been eating. With the sugar tax coming this way in two years, I guess everything that contains sugar is going to sky rocket in price, that includes: pastries, cakes etc. Although whatever the price, I don't see this sugar tax actually going to be a solution to the obesity or the excessive indulgence of soft drinks. People who  like or need something will always go out to buy it. I reckon every one will eat less fruit & healthy stuff to continue with fizzy drinks. It's the parents who need to cut out the sugar in their children's diet from young! Although I believe it's not only sugar causing obesity! It's the fast (junk) food that everybody eats! Yes, it's so much cheaper than buying healthy food. A tasty pizza costs just a pound from Iceland, each child can have one. Three children covered with three pounds. A healthy meal will set you back at least eight pounds.

Anyways, sexy attire. Feel good while you work out. Get fashion fit! Two lovely choices of mine to inspire you for the gym, working out, running, walking, yoga, or every other fitness. Get in shape and stay stylish.

    1. Logo Leggings / 45 dollars / Nike.com
    2. Strappy crop top / 11 dollars / wearall.com
    3. Run women's running shoes / 75 dollars / Jcpenney.com
    4. Earbuds / 4o dollars / Kohls.com

    A. Crop top / 6 pounds / topshop.com
    B. Sport Legging / 30 euros / modemusthaves.com
    C. Elite running shoes / 48 dollars / 6PM.com
    D. Swoosh Wristband / 11 pounds / Nelly.com

Have an awesome day and eat/drink everything you want (we have one life to live!) But eat it in small portions and exercise and be active! You should be able to have a healthy life!

    Keep smiling!

    Love & Peace.

    Delicious Mulligatawny!

    Hi Everybody, happy Thursday.

The sun is shining today and it's a glorious day. I hear the birds chirping and I'm listening to some great tunes on Radio one. All over the news the last two days have been about Maria Sharapova. I just can't seem to get my head around an atlethe needing to take medication for the last ten years!! Why would anyone need to take anything other than Paracetamol or Ibuprofen, if they are a normal person? She should never have been an atlethe if she's ill and needs medication, lol.. Ban her stupid arse forever :)

Okay, that was my rant and what has been on my mind for the last two days! Now I want to share with you one of my favorite recipes that I enjoy cooking for the children and myself. It's an Anglo-Indian recipe but I think it originated somewhere in Burma (Myanma) it's called Mulligatawny, and it's super delicious. Enjoy!

    Ingredients:
1 tablespoon ghee (clarified butter), or vegetable oil

    1 tablespoon chopped fresh curry

Little Black Dresses , To Make A Fashion Statement !

Good morning/afternoon/evening/night wherever you are in your day hope you are smiling and well !
Today We are back to making a fashion statement . We often do it with a little black dress , we all have one or in my case a few . No it doesn't all have to be boring and dull and just the shade of black . We can throw a little bit of extra colour in the dress like some white detail or a gold belt and allow the dress to stand out .
I have selected a few black dresses and put them here , to give you some idea of the beautiful choices available .Hope you like my selection .
Do you have a favourite black dress ? Would you wear a black dress for any special occasion , like Christmas , a wedding or a banquet ?
Our beautiful Kate , Duchess of Cambridge wore a Red dress to the most recent banquet for the visiting Chinese Premier . Maybe a black dress would have been better suited for that occasion , lol ... The pomp and ceremony given to the Chinese , and a massive deal struck with them hhmm very questionable !  A parade down the Mall a welcome like no other and the same day 1700 jobs lost , that means British people unemployed , because more steel works are shut down , all due to the Chinese  dumping steel at low costs . Grand scale unemployment here as a result , but of course the Royal Family don't care , nor does the government . A Banquet for people ruining the livelihood of the country , but our future King , Prince Charles did not attend and I am so pleased ,at least someone cares !!! I remember reading a long time ago , the Prince called the Chinese , Stiff Wax works .. seems very true ! The Dali Lama over the Chinese any day . Of course anything made in China is not built to last and that is just about everything nowadays , oh yes not babies , lol they are made in va-china ;)
Black Dresses they just suit every occasion and it always speaks volumes . Have a wonderful day and keep smiling xx

Avant Garde, Glamorous and Small Time!

    Happy Wednesday,

So it's March, the third month of the year. Where are all the days going? Too fast for me!! But there is Spring to look forward to, my birthday in April, which is always a great month for me :)

But if you were hoping for a ''snow day'' to come sooner it's still holding out, lol. Although the weather raport says it's possible in the week, but I think it's highly unlikely. Heavy snow and transport down, not going to happen!

You know, at this time of the year there is always more things to lug around then we would like. I think I have already lost three pairs of gloves and right now I'm just using one which is really Christmassy with sparkles etc. Yes, Christmas made a big dent in my wallet but you know it's okay to Google all these ''Winter Breaks'' and imagine you are in some Ski Chalet having an awesome good time with ''Gluk Wine'', some ''Cheese Fondue'' and toasted marshmellows. Hmm, all those rich people who can afford breaks and the luxury of ''No Worries'' well, God Bless them, because life is a cycle and good things do come to ''Patient'' people!

Did you all get to see the Oscar speech of Leo DiCaprio? He took the time to bash the greedy politicians, the coperate world, etc. etc. But is he in a place to talk? I think actors are over-paid and completely greedy, maybe it's time they lived on salaries as everyone else. Don't accept freebies from companies and actually do something to this Earth. How about actively campaining against war and unnecesary Military equipment which costs billions, yet there is none going to the welfare of citizens and budgets being cut all the time! We are killing the enviroment, with wards, polution, and unhealthy options.

Let's make it our busines in this world to promote love & peace. Goodwill and kind gestures towards our fellow human beings, because no matter how smart you think you are, there is somebody smarter than you laughing in the corner. Have humility and God will bless you. One of my favorite quotes from Buddha is, ''What you think, you become. What you feel, you will attract. And what you imagine, you create!''

Have an awesome day and keep smiling.

    Love & Peace.

    Street Style Fashion!

    Happy Tuesday!

It's also ''Super Tuesday'' today in the USA, but all of us Brits are more busy discussing the in/out referendum set for the 23rd of June. Now such a beautiful day with summer on the doorstep and people have to vote for such a major thing. My bet is 70% of the people will be no show at the polls, with everybody choosing to go to the beach or a theme park. (hopefully not the one with the major disasters to its name.) Or just out shopping, or maybe all the June weddings will have everyone so busy, ''poll dates'' FORGOTTEN!

This year seems to be a one for major decisions and all of them seem to fall in a category of ''None, the better of two evils?'' Maybe I'm just being pessimistic. Which I actually never am. I love my optimistic view of the world, but I can't seem to decide who is better -- Hilary or Trump. In or out of the EU? But wherever the roads of life take you, stay dressed chic to lift your spirits out of the gloom of a bad situation.

Today's street style is in dark colours, always trendy and stylish. My favourite quote on fashion has to be the words of Coco Chanel, ''In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different.'' So enjoy your own style and I hope you like the tips and what's trendy now that I give.
