It takes place across the Channel in France , a place called Chantilly, which is very beautiful .The favourite to win is ENABLE a filly who will be ridden by Frankie Dettori , the best jockey in the world and I will be very happy to put my money on it ! Have a bet on it , it would be worth it . You could also put a double , which I will be doing on the 4.35 also at Chantilly on Marsha ridden by a very very good jockey Luke Morris , unbelievably talented !

Today's blog is about a favourite which never goes out of fashion ..the pencil skirt , I think it's glamorous and I love wearing them .

Four Gorgeous Autumn Sweaters !

If you have been keeping up with all the celeb news you would have heard Kylie is reportedly pregnant ! At 20 , it is far too young ( keeping in mind I had my eldest very young !) it is not something I would suggest young girls do ! Kylie is just stepping out into adulthood and needs these formative years on learning up all the joys of being an adult without the responsibility of parenthood . Being a parent is demanding and a full time job with responsibility . Children need the love & attention and the next 18 years is pretty much putting the kids ahead of yourself . But I would imagine with all her family around her , she has all the support she needs and her child is not going to lack from playmates or money ! So good luck Kylie but I do believe she rushed her choice of father for her child in a five month relationship and 4 months pregnant is not a good start any way you see it !

On another note , Chicken livers is something I enjoy eating and today I read the Michelin star restaurant of Mark Sargent has been downgraded from 5 stars to 2 , because the chicken livers were pink ! Rightly so , I eat my chicken livers cooked all the way through and all meat , especially chicken need to be cooked well with no pinkness ! No I don't eat at Michelin places because I don't believe the food is cooked all the way through ! We are getting more conscience of our intake as we look to be healthy and not get cancer and other sicknesses etc ... under cooked meat is a very dangerous thing ! Eat right and put healthy food into your body and reap the benefits ! Meat is a good thing but eat it responsibly , over-indulgence is also bad . Fruit and veg can be eaten raw or cooked on a lighter note :)

Today's blog and outfit selection is something you would choose if you had a nice date for the weekend . Today was supposed to be the end of the world , well all the doomsday predictions are proving how hopelessly wrong they are .. Are we all worried ?? NO but some people do worry , especially as the world is now facing threats from Rocket Man but Thank God we have Donald Trump who is very capable of looking after us all , and I can sleep well at night knowing nothing will ever happen to us !

On another note , hearing the daily news and feeling like a situation is getting completely out of control in the UK "Acid attacks " this is completely unacceptable .How can these things happen in a civilised first world country like the UK ? Could it be the huge influx of people from the East that has caused this to begin here? After all no cultured person , with a decent  background would think this is any kind of weapon to use against another fellow human being ! We need this to stop immediately , unless we start thinking and taking appropriate action , we are not going to get this under control . Much as I am against the death penalty , I think in this case we need to bring it back , anyone caught who has used acid in an attack, should be charged and within a month Hung !!!!  Believe me this will stop so quick after 5 or 6 people are put to death in the gallows . We need to get more tough and act out quickly or else the world is going to get completely out of control . I am beginning to lose all hope for humanity , it is very depressing to know we have alot of evil people out there wishing to do harm on somebody else !

Much as I always promote Peace & Love which I will continue to do , we need to take a tougher stance on rogue people , just locking up people is not the answer , we need to deter others from using this vile , disfiguring type of violence ! Please spend every moment thinking of the good you can do for others and not try to intentionally hurt somebody !

Kate , William and Harry need to invest their royal millions into Mental Health Hospitals and name it after Princess Diana which would  help people to adjust to everyday living which is a pain . We all have issues , some more than others and living in this hard world makes it tougher to survive . Talking is not enough , more professionals need to be available to society ! Remember suicide is not the answer talk about it , and seek help if you are feeling vulnerable . You are loved and will be missed forever . .. don't leave your loved ones behind , live your life and go naturally believe me it is an achievement but worth it in the end .

Good morning/afternoon/evening/night wherever you are in your day I hope you are smiling ! Sunday is a day for rest and relaxation , I hope you took every advantage to spend time with your family . I found time to catch up with all the latest gossip and unless you have been living on Mars , you all must have read about Wayne Rooney's antics ! So he was arrested drink driving , very foolish to get into a car after drinking but it was not even his car it belonged to a girl he met while nightclubbing ! He drank , and his judgement was impaired no excuse he is married and his wife is preggers with their 4 th child! Seriously he should not be acting like a young man in his 20's with no responsibility . But men sometimes do things they shouldn't be doing! Saying that I personally think Coleen should not be saying things about this girl , a slapper ?? Slamming the party girl ?? Her husband had been acting foolishly , and she should be ashamed of him and keep her mouth shut about this single woman . Why do women blame other women ? Everybody has been harsh and expects Coleen to dump Wayne for cheating , but I can understand if Coleen forgives him again , it is not because she is weak , a pushover or desperate ! No she has a family with him children who need their parents to try and make it as a family and she is trying hard for her children as a good mother would , she does have a 4th on the way. Wayne will always be the cheater he is , so it will be no surprise if he does this again . And no , she is not setting a bad example for her sons, by staying because as they grow up they will see their mother was loyal to their cheating father and when they have relationships they will treat their partner better . If the parents split , the children will think it's okay not to try, and getting out of something is a quick and easy solution and will have a series of failed relationships behind them . That's my bit of Sunday advice , try to forgive , don't blabber about somebody else no matter what the reason and try hard to make things work !

Delicious Puri's... Easy & Cheap To Make !!!

Hurrican Irma has been battering the Carribean Islands and all the tv coverage of it is heartbreaking and beautiful to watch . Nature playing havoc ! I believe Sir Richard Branson's house on Necker Island is completely ruined . Well he can easily afford to rebuild so he does not have my sympathies . I am feeling the pain of all the island dwellers who are not too well off and somehow have to struggle by. The Florida coast is going to feel some brunt of it and the point is, how do all these people continue living in that area struck by hurricans year after year ! God bless all in the path of Irma , stay strong and safe !

On another note , Prince George starts nursery today , hope he has an amazing day , and Mum can drop him off , inspite of morning sickness! I know a lot of women have no choice and have to get the kids to school , even when pregnant and sick ! But Prince George has two stay at home parents so it comes in handy, lol !!!

Today's blog is about something I love to eat ... Puri's !!!
Puri's  are delicious !!! If you don't know what a puri is , allow me to tell you, it's a delicious Indian bread to be eaten with a curry , or accompanied with an Indian Dal or a potato dish . It's normally eaten in the mornings in India , but I have learned to cook it and the kids and myself have it for dinner. It's something we love, and it fills us up so NO snacking two hours later . I enjoy preparing it , and the kids love eating it . The youngest adores it with scrambled eggs !!
It's fairly easy to make , and so cheap , but mouth watering and yummy . You could easily serve it up as a starter with a nice chicken salad  , it's how I love it !

This is the recipe , with not too many ingredients :)

Whole wheat flour 500 gms
Salt ( to taste )
Oil

Sieve the wheat flour with salt . Add water and about two teaspoons of oil and mix it into the flour to make a dough . Use your hands to work the dough .
Don't make the dough too soft  like for a chappati but it should be a little stiff and tight .
Divide the dough into small balls , apply oil to the dough balls , the idea is when you are frying the oil stays clean and no burnt  particles of flour through the oil .
Roll the dough evenly into a small circle , it should not be too thick .
Place the puris on a plate and cover with cling film so they don't dry out before it's ready to fry .
Heat the oil in a wok . The wok should  have about 3 cups of oil . When the oil is hot throw a little piece of dough to test it . The oil should sizzle and the dough ball should quickly raise to the top .
Now throw in your puris , one at a time . It should puff out soon , turn it over and fry till it's a golden brown . Take it out , don't forget to drain it on some kitchen paper , and it's ready to eat :)

Turmeric A Very Healthy Spice !

Hope you spent your day peacefully , enjoying the pleasures of a lazy weekend . I got in a little bit of exercise , did some meditation and enjoyed an hour of music while I cooked dinner music . It was beautiful . If you are loving the new Taylor Swift song well high five I love it too "look what you made me do " :) lol ... Schools are opening and the kids are all ready and excited to be in their new year . I shall miss them around the house all day . I love to hear them laughing and having fun with each other .  Singing and messing around and making bottles of slime and using up my washing liqued !
Today my blog is about a very healthy spice which is very good for you , but not  a lot of people make use of it . Read up and try it . We all need to be healthy every now and again !

Turmeric , is an Indian spice which is long associated with beneficial health properties . Very few people actually use this spice and if you don't do Indian cooking you would not know in what to use it !!

Turmeric is known for it's bright yellow colour and is often used to colour an Indian Palou ( a delicious rice dish ) Well aside from colouring the rice , it is also used in most other Indian dishes , so Indian people get all the health benefits of turmeric , from their food .

The Benefits of turmeric are plentiful . It detoxes the body . Protects the liver tissue . Boosts immunity .  Cleanses and purify 's the blood . Eases symptoms of coughs and colds . Improves circulation . Improves overall appearance of the skin . Prevents internal blood clotting . Reduces bad cholesterol . Reduces inflammation , and last stimulates secretion of bile .

So if you have never cooked Indian food and you still want to be able to use turmeric for all it's health benefits and don't know how , it's simple . You could always add half a teaspoon to a warm glass of milk , like I sometimes do or you could make a delicious tea every day and enjoy your added goodness of turmeric in it !

I shall give you a delicious way to combine it in the tea and feel all the wonderful effects from it when you get healthier and as a result add extra years to your life which everyone so wants ;)

Turmeric and Ginger Tea , it's also a great liver detox !

Ingredients

1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1 ginger teabag
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp honey
Boiling water
Some milk

Fill the mug almost full with boiling water . Add the ginger teabag and half a tsp of turmeric  let it soak for about 7 minutes . Remove the teabag and add the cinnamon and the honey . Fill  the mug up now with milk and stir . Enjoy your delicious mug of tea and the added health benefits it offers !
