In England it's bank holiday weekend, and it's been hot , sort off !! The rains throughout the North were a bit of a downer, but it all blew over, and the sun and good weather was all around! In the US everyone is celebrating Memorial day and the barbecues must be all out and officially everyone is wearing their white attire!
Today I watched on BBC2 the ''Life Swap Adventure'' with interest. It's always exciting to see two people from 2 different cultures swap lives. The thing I loved the most about it is how close family is, in culture away from the west. It's quite normal to work very hard in the west and as your family grow up and leave home , you hardly ever make time to see them regularly. I would love to always have close contact with my children , after they grow up and leave home. How much of what we have learnt do we pass down to our kids ? Nowadays children learn so much from the internet ,we don't really have that much stuff, knowledge, or skill they would need to learn from us. Though as often as I can, values and culture are some of the only things I can give them. One of the most important things I always try to share is, how important self esteem is. In a world of social media, this is one thing all children should have in abundance. Because there are loads of people out there who only give out one thing, and that is abuse and name calling. If you check their feeds you will see they regularly call people names. Stand firmly on your ground, and let them shout because in a few days you will see these same people buffering all sorts of problems , had to laugh because karma is a very real thing !! Do wrong and watch it bite you back . Yes, jealousy is also very bad especially ,if someone is genuine and honest with you. No good comes to jealousy. You lose a good relationship and doing wrong to someone can only cause grief & unhappiness.Be the best person you can be. Don't mix with people who call your friends names, and don't ever put a woman down or allow somebody to say rude things to her. Remember we are here on earth to spread good, love and peace. Tell your friends stop this now and respect women, a man should never speak ill of a woman. It's disgraceful and people who mix with those ,are disgraceful themselves. So much talk over this derby rider and horse . Just be happy for her , but humans like showing their ugly nature !
