Delicious Mulligatawny!

Hi Everybody, happy Thursday.

The sun is shining today and it's a glorious day. I hear the birds chirping and I'm listening to some great tunes on Radio one. All over the news the last two days have been about Maria Sharapova. I just can't seem to get my head around an atlethe needing to take medication for the last ten years!! Why would anyone need to take anything other than Paracetamol or Ibuprofen, if they are a normal person? She should never have been an atlethe if she's ill and needs medication, lol.. Ban her stupid arse forever :)

Okay, that was my rant and what has been on my mind for the last two days! Now I want to share with you one of my favorite recipes that I enjoy cooking for the children and myself. It's an Anglo-Indian recipe but I think it originated somewhere in Burma (Myanma) it's called Mulligatawny, and it's super delicious. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon ghee (clarified butter), or vegetable oil

1 tablespoon chopped fresh curry

7 Great Pink Inspired Beauty Buys!

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening/Night wherever you are in your day, I hope you are smiling!

Mid week and the weather is still so blah for March, cold winds, icy rain but some Sunshine to say Spring is promised!

Pink is hot this Spring and the colour reminds us as well of fun/happy things. It cheers up our souls as it's the primary colour of flowers, nature, and new things.

I am going to list you some new hot pink buys that will be a favorite with everyone who loves beauty! They are number one with me! I recommend them all to be tried.

1. Maybelline Baby Lips Balm & Blush for 4.99
Most cheek & lips balms don't deliver, but this one isn't dry on the lips or sticky on the cheeks!

2. Angel Eyes Eye Shadow Shields at 3.95
They are heaven sent. A set of 100 sticky wings to catch the make up that falls under your eyes as you apply.

3. YSL Beaute La laque Couture in Love Pink 19.00
It's a steal! And I'm dying to get my hands on one of them. Apply one coat for a tint, or three for a jewel finish. Beautiful varnish!

4. Clarins Multi-Active Day Cream at 42.00
At 42 pounds, it's very expensive. But this miracle cream in a jar helps protect our skin when we produce a skin damaging hormone, whenever we are stressed.

5. Calvin Klein CK Two 30.00
This 2016 bottle of CK Two is far edgier than its CK One sister, who in 1994 made you a somebody if you owned one!

6. Kiko Nail Art Glitter Tapes 2.90
These are easy-peasy glitter tapes for your talons and you won't need half a packet of cotten wool to get them off.

7. Chanel Sunkiss Ribbon Blush in Harmony 44.00
It has been inspired by a Californian Sunrise, this blush gives such a pretty flush.

Hope you love my seven best pink inspired beauty buys to help you feel that ´´Spring´´ is in the air. My inspirational quote for today is ´´Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value.´´ and the great Albert Einstein said this.

Have an awesome day and keep smiling.

Hope your Mother's Day weekend was fun, relaxing and filled with love! I visited a farm with the children and it was awesome for a city girl! For the first time in my life I saw 'ducks' mating! It was a gruesome looking experience for the duck, lol! The male walked over her OUCH, then he bites her down on her head so she can't move then he 'mates' :(

The kangaroos eating all the cabbage we were giving them was cute and the deer/chickens etc were all very friendly lol :)

Have the best Mother's Day weekend, spoil your Mums, you get only one and nobody on this earth can love you more than a Mum. Ever heard the reason why the saying goes, ''Love is blind'' ?
That's because your Mum loved you even before you were born and she set eyes on you. From the day you were a little embryo in her tummy and she discovered she was pregnant.

So happy Mother's Day to all Mums and prayers, thoughts, and kisses to all our Mums who are not here with us on earth but in our hearts and thoughts every day.

Mum, I love you!

Little Black Dresses , To Make A Fashion Statement !

Good morning/afternoon/evening/night wherever you are in your day hope you are smiling and well !
Today We are back to making a fashion statement . We often do it with a little black dress , we all have one or in my case a few . No it doesn't all have to be boring and dull and just the shade of black . We can throw a little bit of extra colour in the dress like some white detail or a gold belt and allow the dress to stand out .
I have selected a few black dresses and put them here , to give you some idea of the beautiful choices available .Hope you like my selection .
Do you have a favourite black dress ? Would you wear a black dress for any special occasion , like Christmas , a wedding or a banquet ?
Our beautiful Kate , Duchess of Cambridge wore a Red dress to the most recent banquet for the visiting Chinese Premier . Maybe a black dress would have been better suited for that occasion , lol ... The pomp and ceremony given to the Chinese , and a massive deal struck with them hhmm very questionable !  A parade down the Mall a welcome like no other and the same day 1700 jobs lost , that means British people unemployed , because more steel works are shut down , all due to the Chinese  dumping steel at low costs . Grand scale unemployment here as a result , but of course the Royal Family don't care , nor does the government . A Banquet for people ruining the livelihood of the country , but our future King , Prince Charles did not attend and I am so pleased ,at least someone cares !!! I remember reading a long time ago , the Prince called the Chinese , Stiff Wax works .. seems very true ! The Dali Lama over the Chinese any day . Of course anything made in China is not built to last and that is just about everything nowadays , oh yes not babies , lol they are made in va-china ;)
Black Dresses they just suit every occasion and it always speaks volumes . Have a wonderful day and keep smiling xx

Avant Garde, Glamorous and Small Time!

Happy Wednesday,

So it's March, the third month of the year. Where are all the days going? Too fast for me!! But there is Spring to look forward to, my birthday in April, which is always a great month for me :)

But if you were hoping for a ''snow day'' to come sooner it's still holding out, lol. Although the weather raport says it's possible in the week, but I think it's highly unlikely. Heavy snow and transport down, not going to happen!

You know, at this time of the year there is always more things to lug around then we would like. I think I have already lost three pairs of gloves and right now I'm just using one which is really Christmassy with sparkles etc. Yes, Christmas made a big dent in my wallet but you know it's okay to Google all these ''Winter Breaks'' and imagine you are in some Ski Chalet having an awesome good time with ''Gluk Wine'', some ''Cheese Fondue'' and toasted marshmellows. Hmm, all those rich people who can afford breaks and the luxury of ''No Worries'' well, God Bless them, because life is a cycle and good things do come to ''Patient'' people!

Did you all get to see the Oscar speech of Leo DiCaprio? He took the time to bash the greedy politicians, the coperate world, etc. etc. But is he in a place to talk? I think actors are over-paid and completely greedy, maybe it's time they lived on salaries as everyone else. Don't accept freebies from companies and actually do something to this Earth. How about actively campaining against war and unnecesary Military equipment which costs billions, yet there is none going to the welfare of citizens and budgets being cut all the time! We are killing the enviroment, with wards, polution, and unhealthy options.

Let's make it our busines in this world to promote love & peace. Goodwill and kind gestures towards our fellow human beings, because no matter how smart you think you are, there is somebody smarter than you laughing in the corner. Have humility and God will bless you. One of my favorite quotes from Buddha is, ''What you think, you become. What you feel, you will attract. And what you imagine, you create!''

Have an awesome day and keep smiling.

Love & Peace.

Street Style Fashion!

Happy Tuesday!

It's also ''Super Tuesday'' today in the USA, but all of us Brits are more busy discussing the in/out referendum set for the 23rd of June. Now such a beautiful day with summer on the doorstep and people have to vote for such a major thing. My bet is 70% of the people will be no show at the polls, with everybody choosing to go to the beach or a theme park. (hopefully not the one with the major disasters to its name.) Or just out shopping, or maybe all the June weddings will have everyone so busy, ''poll dates'' FORGOTTEN!

This year seems to be a one for major decisions and all of them seem to fall in a category of ''None, the better of two evils?'' Maybe I'm just being pessimistic. Which I actually never am. I love my optimistic view of the world, but I can't seem to decide who is better -- Hilary or Trump. In or out of the EU? But wherever the roads of life take you, stay dressed chic to lift your spirits out of the gloom of a bad situation.

Today's street style is in dark colours, always trendy and stylish. My favourite quote on fashion has to be the words of Coco Chanel, ''In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different.'' So enjoy your own style and I hope you like the tips and what's trendy now that I give.
