Five Great Wines, On Discount To Enjoy!

Happy Thursday!

Today started the Aintree festival and if you were enjoying the racing on telly, I am envious. With the weekend close, I am surely going to see as much s I can. All of the country, whether they regularly bet or not, throw caution to the wind and take a punt on the Grand National. It's something of a lottery everybody says, but seriously it is not. In the last fifteen years, it has always been one of the top eight horses who has won the coveted Grand National trophy. What probably draws us all to wage a gamble is the big odds which makes it exciting and worthwhile. While we all normally look at a name which draws us to a horse, it's also worth while to consider who rides the horse, a jockey who you trust, is capable of getting the best out of the horse.

So with all the horse racing going on, some nice glasses of wine to help you unwind and enjoy all those winnings when your horses come in!

A very nice red, ''Faustino V Reserva'' 2010 from Spain is now 7.50 pounds, priced down from 10.98 at Asda.

My favourite is the ''Jacob's Creek Steingarten Riesling'' 2011 from 13.00 pounds now available for 10.00 pounds.

''Clauzy Sauvignon'' 2014 French wine. A citrus fruit flavour with tropical fruit and tropical sauvignon aromas. A very fresh & elegant wine costs 7.45 pounds. But you could buy two for 10.00. A real bargain!

''Viras del Vero 'Lucus' white'' 2014 from Spain costs 7.00 pounds. But the offer of buy two for 13.00 pounds is a small bargain.

''Southern Point Sauvignon Blanc Western Cape 2015'' is a South African wine. Costs 6.50 pounds but priced down to 4.00. Now a real bargain. It's fresh, zesty with a touch of asparagus & herbs on the nose. Chilled, this is delicious with a light salad. Or a chicken dinner!

All wines are available online at Asda.com

Have a wonderful day and keep smiling!

Love & Peace.
