Outfit Inspiration: Denim Shorts!

Happy Wednesday!

Another outfit inspiration for today. When I concentrate on denim shorts. As they are so popular on the streets in the UK now as the last warm days of summer continue to bless our island. Everyone is reaching for their shorts. As there is so much of variety with denim shorts. Everyone has a favorite. The high waisted variety with white embroidery is currently on discount at Primark. There is the normal variety frayed with holes like the one Kylie Jenner had that showed some of her butt. Then there is the mini shorts which I bought for myself today. It enhances your butt and gives you an ample one even if your Taylor Swift in that department. We all didn't want a a butt like Kim, who looks like she hasn't changed her diaper in a few days, lol. A natural butt and if you do a lot of squats is going to be a super good looking one.
Did anyone actually notice Blue Ivy's shoes at the VMA's? Well if you were Holly Willoughby she did! Did she have to brag about her daughter wearing the same shoes as Blue Ivy. I find it ridiculous that a presenter can afford to buy shoes for her child that are the same that Beyonce can afford. So somebody is being overpaid. Considering her hubby ain't as rich as Jay Z, Shame on Holly. I actually liked her. Spoiling her child is not doing her any favors considering all the poverty in Britain. Pay someone's rent instead, Holly. One month. It would give people a break now and again. Middle class families are struggling in case she didn't know! On another subject, did Eamonn actually want Marnie to get her boobs out? Bet Ruth would've been shocked if she actually did. I guess as you get older your tongue gets loose, lol. Or maybe he hasn't seen breasts in a while!

Enjoy my outfit selection and all the items are available online.

1. Frayed denim hotpant / 26 dollars / boohoo.com
2. L/S top / 18 pounds / Nelly.com
3. Chunky mule pumps / 39 dollars / Shein.com
4. Metallic gold mini backpack / 30 dollars / Johnlewis.com
5. Golden gala earrings / 23 AUD / Shopbop.com
6. Gold chain waist belt / 12 dollars / Luxurydivas.com

Have an awesome day and keep smiling!

Casual Chic With a Leather Skirt!

Happy Tuesday!

Hope the Bank Holiday weekend was fun, relaxed, and special. The VMA's were on telly and I loved every minute of it. Although I must say I prefer the red carpet and the fashion side of it a tad better. Although I must say most sparkled and were glamorous. The worst dressed for me was Nev Schulman's fiancee. Far from dressing up, her lack of clothes over her pregnant body was in poor taste. Considering she's not a celebrity, she should have taken more care in a sophisticated outfit. Although her hairstyle was spot on!
I like Rita Ora but the granny pants, fur, and shoulder pads look was so wrong. Will Smith's son was a mess, although I loved a lot of the celebs who embraced the full jumpsuit look.. Beyonce's outfit was fashionably terrible. Maybe she should have changed outfits with Blue Ivy, her dress was far more glamorous. Loved Britney Spears's dress and Taylor Hill's who were by far the best dressed. Can't forget to mention Jojo's brocade Erika Cavallini flared pants, which were absolutely beautiful.

Here is an outfit selection for casual chic.

1. Flare leather skirt / 9.89 dollars / romwe.com
2. Chiffon blouse / 25 pounds / hm.com
3. floppy hat / 43 dollars / bluefly.com
4. Black faux suede bacpack / 20 dollars / lamoda.co.uk
5. velvet matte lipstick / 7 dollars / nyxcosmetics.com
6. Lace up ankle boot / 25 dollars / shoecenter.com
7. Ruby sterling silver / 19 dollars / Jewelry.com
8. silver tone cuff braclet / 31 dollars / macys.com

We don't go anywhere grand like the VMA's but for our lifestyle we could look pretty cool.

Have an awesome day and keep smiling!

Love & Peace.

The Battle of Truth vs Lies - Lies Wins. Truth Gains You No Friends

Happy Saturday,

I just finished reading a piece on ''why the truth hurts and it's so hard to take.'' I have always been way forthright and honest with all my opinions if someone asked I only ever gave the truth but in today's society invariably you will be left with no friends and hardly anyone will want to speak to you if you give the truth. So over the last year or so I have learnt to speak less and not speak the truth or give an opinion Today's society is very fake with no morals, do as you please and no love or respect for anyone. So it's far better to believe in a manner that society now dedicates. In other words better be fake. The truth seems to hurt everyone and people live in denial their whole lives, often in their last years a sense of a wasted life wakes them up and striving for sudden goodness. Somehow to redeem themselves takes over their day to day living.
An example of three people who somehow couldn't take any truth turn their back. One was a good friend and just over a photo where he had been at a shooting practice and I remarked the holes seemed like in the wrong places was met with such anger, he never spoke to me again. Then there was my cousin and apparently saying something about virginity angered her so much, she never spoke to me again. And it's a pity because I liked my cousin a lot! Then there was a girl-friend who I knew many years since school. I thought I could speak my mind with her but apparently after she be-friended my brother (who I have no contact with) and started giving him 'likes' etc on Facebook and I told her it hurt me and I was upset since I thought she was my friend and had loyalty to me. But apparently loyalty also doesn't exist and she wanted to be friends with everyone so that was the end of that friendship. Speak the truth at your peril. The world is now a dark cloud of lies, deceit, unjustness, and a class divide between rich and poor.. Then there is Ryan Lochte making up such a story about being held at gun point! How did he think he'd get away with it, everywhere in the world CCTV cameras exist. So shameful! But that is a lot of people everywhere. I have learnt to hold my tongue and allow the truth to be swept away although for me it's very hard and I'm struggling with living in this fake, horrible world. We need changes and quick! More love & peace, more money for everyone and most of all understanding for every single person in depression, despair, hard times, homelessness, etc. etc. Do more and the world will get better.

Keep smiling and have an awesome day.

Love & Peace.

Delicious Vodka, Cranberry Cocktail for the Weekend!

Happy Thursday,

A heat wave has hit us and with the weather so warm and sweaty the only thing we can think about is how to cool down. Loads of ice-tea, ice cream, and swimming at the local pool. Luckily these warm, warm days are so rare hardly two dozen in the whole year. So it's pathetic to complain but just because it's so rare it's rough acclimatising to the heat. I really do prefer the cold and temperatures above 9-10 degrees Celsius I can cope with!

Today I have a movie recommendation , it might be a pretty old movie but it's definitely worth seeing it! I don't know how I really missed it when it was just released in 2002. But I always intended to see it given the chance. I remember reading the book when Oprah Winfrey first recommended it at her book club (tv show) in 1999. It was a very well written book. If I still haven't written the name, forgive me but I'm sure you will have all heard about it ''White Oleander.'' It's about a young girl of 14 and her coming of age! After her Mum is sent to prison she is sent to a series of foster homes. Her life as it develops and her experiences at each place as she struggles to grow up with all this baggage she has emotionally. It's a very good movie and the book was a very good read. If you get a chance you must see it.

So before I end here I want to share a cocktail recipe that I love. It has a little bit of alcohol, fruit, and all other lovely goodness to make the end of each day as you lay back in the evening, just perfect.

Vodka and Cranberry cocktail

Ingredients:
200ml/7fl oz each vodka and Cointreau
600ml cranberry juice
400ml orange juice
strips of peel from 2-3 limes
crushed ice, to serve

Instructions:
1. Pour the vodka and Cointreau into a jug, then add the cranberry juice and orange juice. Stir well.
2. Pare strips of peel from 2-3 limes. Fill 12 glasses with the crushed ice, then pour over the cocktail. Finish each glass with a strip of lime peel.

Have an awesome day and keep smiling.

Love & Peace.

Poetry: the Seeds of Time

Good Morning / Afternoon / Evening / Night, wherever you are in your day - I hope you're smiling ear to ear!

As a lover of poetry, in between my hectic/rushful/calm/sudden life I'm hit with days when the urge to pen some lines is more dominant than the peaceful surrender of laying back on the couch and watching some Celebrity Big Brother!

The poem I wrote today:

The Seeds Of Time

The big white wall, so bare
My focus fixed, a blank stare
Kaleidoscope vision, stars rotate
Zooming around, does my bed vibrate?
Is it just a dream, the vase of flowers still stands there.
It's not a dream,
I smell the smoke, the gas, the air the choice is harsh.
But my life can't compare.
Sudden thoughts, deep despair,
How high is high, to fall and not miss the concrete stair
I'll turn and twist and somersault
I'll be that diver, I think but it's not the pool I see!
The big white wall, a big white wall
so blank, a canvas, no grey, no black, no color..
I'll paint it blue. With stars and stripes.
It makes me smile, the kaleidoscope of colors.
Someone's rustling my sheets, are you awake?
Deep in slumber, a shocked state!
The cool breeze won't do much
Rested at last.. No, a foolish mistake!

Love & Peace.

Healthy Living, The Secret Art of Fruit and Veg!

Happy Sunday!

You are what you eat.. Take a minute to think about it. Did you know a can of cola can be used to clean your toilet bowl and get the stains of, imagine then what you are putting inside your body. Every 28 days your skin replaces itself. It takes four months for your liver and ten years for your bones. Your body creates new cells from the food you eat. You have a choice in what you are made of!
A huge problem with our society is that healthy food costs a lot more than junk  food. Did Jamie Oliver just say that Theresa May & the government has failed the people in the sugar campaign? Well, it's not the government's duty to boss the people's intake of sugar. People have to know better about the benefits of healthy eating and put better food on their tables for their kids. The increase of sugar tax is not going to stop the people to buy sugary drinks and soda. They will just make sure they spend less elsewhere! Such a waste the sugar tax which will help nothing!

The healthy art of eating fruits!
The RED fruits like strawberries, tomatoes, cherries, paprika, and watermelons help to improve heart and blood health and support joints.

ORANGE fruits like pumpkin, carrots, melons, mandarins, and apricots help to prevent cancer and promotes collagen growth.

YELLOW fruit like bananas, mango, paprika, pineapple, star fruit, and pears help your vision, heart, digestion, and immune system.

GREEN fruits like kiwi, cucumber, broccoli, peas, green apples, grapes - they are powerful detoxers, fight free radicals and help improve the immune system.

WHITE fruits like mushrooms, parsnips, cauliflower, garlic, white onions, activate our natural killer cells and reduce a cancer risk.

The BLUE/PURPLE fruits like grapes, figs, aubergine, cabbage, blueberries, prunes, improve mineral absorption and are powerful antioxidants.

So live healthy. Less soda, more water. Less driving, more walking. Less worry, more sleep. Less anger, more laughter.

So whatever you do, have an awesome day and keep smiling!

Love & Peace.

The Best Backpacks For Your Back To School Kids!

Happy Friday!

The weekend is here and the Olympics are almost coming to an end ( sad face :( ) but team GB has continued to do so well. Just finished watching the ladies hockey, GB won gold in a cracking match after pulling out all the stops and going 3-3 against The Netherlands. Team GB triumphed at the penalty shoot out giving the Dutch no chance to score. The Dutch goal keeper looked lost and out of her depth, lol. Woot woot, hockey history was made. A good day with Jade Jones winning gold at taekwondo.  Great match!

Now with just a week or two to go for schools to open, every parent is probably busy trying to find a great backpack for their little prince of princess. I have selected a couple which I love and is not too pricey to send you out of your pocket. All are available online to purchase. Hope you love them as much as I do.

1. disney Alice in wonderland backpack / 45 dollars / hottopic.com
2. Studio ghibli totoro backpack / 30 dollars / hottopic.com
3. pokemon backpack / 37 dollars / Amazon.com
4. multi colored backpack / 25 pounds / Zalando.co.uk
5. Wings backpack / 30 AUD / Newchic.com

A quote of inspiration which I love, goes like this ''Don't worry about failure, worry about the chances you miss when you don't even try.'' - Jack Canfield.

Have an awesome day and keep smiling!

Amazing Chocolate Brownies, You Can't Say No Too !

Happy Wednesday,

Intensely proud of Great Britain's achievement at the Olympic games. They are currently in 2nd place on the leader board for medals at the Games. This is the best G.B. have ever performed at an away games! Today the British women's hockey team has made the finals on Friday. So a medal is definitely secured, my bet is the gold. They will have no problem trashing the likes of The Netherlands at the finals. A very poor performance by the Dutch team at the Olympics! Zonderland who I thought might have a chance went and fell like a sack of potatoes. Instead of training in preparation for the games, my guess he was busy studying medicine to secure his future and life after the Olympics. After all, it is not a country who looks after its citizens. On , to other stuff ... Well, if you are thinking of having a future Olympic champion look no further than making sure your child is born on the 23rd of March! All the great Olympic champions who have pulled in a superb medal haul for the UK just happened to share the same birthday of the 23rd of March. Mo Farrah, Chris Hoy, Steve Redgrave, Jason Kenny, as well as the first person to break the 4 minute record in the mile Roger Bannister. An amazing number of people! So if you are enjoying the Olympics as much as I am, you would need more than coffee to keep you up all night enjoying all the events. You would need healthy eating to give you fitness, and good endurance to overcome tiredness and lethargy the following day. Eat well and not only for today ,make it your living plan. The secret to a good long life is drinking coffee, red wine, and dark chocolate. Over indulgence in these are also bad! So go easy , keep fit and healthy with regular long walks or jogs.

Here's one of my favorite recipes for chocolate brownies. They are absolutely delicious. Enjoy.

Ingredients:
Soft butter, for greasing the pan
Flour, for dusting the buttered pan
4 large eggs
1 cup sugar, sifted
1 cup brown sugar, sifted
8 ounces melted butter (2 sticks)
1 1/4 cups cocoa, sifted
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup flour, sifted
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F. Butter and flour an 8-inch square pan.

In a mixer fitted with a whisk attachment, beat the eggs at medium speed until fluffy and light yellow. Add both sugars. Add remaining ingredients, and mix to combine.

Pour the batter into a greased and floured 8-inch square pan and bake for 45 minutes. Check for doneness with the tried-and-true toothpick method: a toothpick inserted into the center of the pan should come out clean. When it's done, remove to a rack to cool. Resist the temptation to cut into it until it's mostly cool.

Have an awesome day and keep smiling!

Ooze Beauty, Like a French Girl! Six Tips!

Happy Monday,

Today I'm going to blog about beauty, to have the effortless beauty of a French girl. It is much, much easier than you think. It is all about 100% great skin and the confidence to show it off. If you follow these six steps, you will feel sexier, more relaxed and significantly more confident than you have ever done. Of course it's also about a attitude adjustment as well.

The first step is all about skin care. So you should go the whole hogg. Use creams, face oils, tonics, cleansers, everything. Put all your effort into amazing skin.

Step two: Use little or no foundation (only on special occasions!) just use concealer where needed.

Step three: Use smoky liner for your eyes. Start by tracing a line close to your lash line with a pencil, shadow & a soft brush, blend the color outward into a soft haze. Start small and you can always make the line darker or thicker. The smoky eye is less about a specific move but more about a feeling you already know how to use.

Step four is a natural but a little more intense lip and cheek stain. Don't go very dark if you have deep smoky eyes.

Step five: Is un-done hair, like you've just rolled out of bed or a nice ballerina bun (a loose top knot up-do!)

Step six is to create a unique personal fragrance with a mix of essential oils so that it is utterly unique and personal to you. Aveda makes exceptional (and utterly clean) scents (about $14 to $17) depending on the type of oil at Aveda.com. They blend beautifully.

Keep your French beauty routine going and you will begin to glow with no shortage of compliments. You will grow more confident and feel 100% more beautiful.

Have an awesome day and keep smiling!

Love & Peace.

One Pair of Boots, 3 Great Outfits!

Happy Saturday!

Everybody loves a pair of black boots and I don't think there is anybody who doesn't have a pair. My favorite pair has some embroidery at the top. It's very unique because I know it was a one off piece I bought from Italy. I love it and wear it to death. Here I have featured a pair of boots available at the shop, which is super cute and I have styled it with three different outfits to give you an idea on some different styles with a pair of black boots. I personally love floral and rock chic, they are my two personal favorites which I rock depending on how I feel when I wake up.

1. Black boots / 69 AUD / Yoins.com
2. Green floral panel dress / 20 pounds / Newlook.com
3. Golden crystal statement choker / 15 dollar / Choies.com
4. Bracelet set / 8.48 dollars / Buckle.com
5. Black stripe romper / 22 dollar / Rotita.com
6. Dip dye faux fur vest / 48 dollars / Chicwish.com
7. Feather choker / 5.30 pounds / Lamoda.co.uk
8. floral skater skirt / 12 pounds / Boohoo.com
9. crop tank top / 10 dollars / Makemechic.com
10. Textured clutch / 16 pounds / Nelly.com

A particular fashion quote from Alexander Wang which I love, thought I'd share it with you: ''Anyone can get dressed up and glamorous but it is how people dress in their days off that are the most intriguing.''

So whatever you do, don't go sloppy. Keep it stylish even possible in flats. focus on a stylish hair-do and some super slick red lippy!

Have an awesome day and keep smiling!

Gorgeous Wedding Dresses to Inspire You!

Good Morning / Afternoon / Evening / Night, wherever you are in your day. I hope you are smiling a big grin from ear to ear!

Team GB are doing so well. I can't help grinning from ear to ear. They have just got GOLD in the team sprint (cycling) in the velodrome. I am so impressed, it is so inspiring for my young son who now also wants a gold medal at the Olympics. Mum, how do you get to go to the Olympics? I was just filling him in on how it all happens. Big congratulations to all the GB athletes who work so hard to achieve for their country. It's also thanks to all the government funding and the lottery funding who allow these athletes to train and not have to go out and work full time jobs in order to attain so many medals for Great Britain. Every medal makes me very proud! Well done GB! ♥

Today I want to blog about wedding dresses I know Pippa (The Duchess of Cambridge's sister), has just got engaged and everyone has been wondering what kind of dress she'd choose. For starters she should choose something completely different from her sister! But no recommendations from me for her! My personal favorites, the two dresses I have put up for any girl planning her wedding and thinking about a dress. Something a bit old fashioned is spot on for a modern day wedding. Always keep it a bit simple but with detail like lace will set you apart from the rest of the brides! Do not go for strapless it is so yesterday and about two million other brides have gone for that style. It's very dull and boring! It's also what what guest expects a bride to be wearing! My personal choice would be to reveal a lot of back and it's so very sexy because as you walk up the aisle and stand with your back to your audience at church as you say your vows it is you who will wow the crowd by showing your back! Make that the new awesome style of the coming years.

2. Lace Trim Maxi wedding dress / 114 dollars / Asos.com

Enjoy the Summer, With My 5 Great Book Choices!

Happy Wednesday!

With the Olympics in full swing, I'm so glued to watching every sport shown on telly. I sometimes can't find the time for anything else! I know I was not too happy with the Rio games, what with it being held in such a poor country, crime so rife in the streets and this lavish put on games with so much pomp and ceremony seems unbalanced for the poor of the country! Not to forget the Zika virus causing so much damage to unborn children of pregnant woman. I am though a big sports buff and I'm watching it cheering on team GB all the way! I love the GB official Olympic attire. I wonder if it was designed by Sir Paul McCartney's daughter. I still think she's where she is , because of her dad. Victoria Beckham on the other hand , made her own name. Her kids don't impress me though. Instead of being at school, they are all over the show enjoying life with their parents, living a grown-up lifestyle . What a wasted life, not being kids, learning and making their own friendships (but it is only my opinion!) Maybe they should be sent to some posh boarding school and study, lol. So studying, reading and absorbing new stuff is important for our brain and our whole being (the way we perceive the world and general judgement!) I am a big fan of reading, whatever I can get my hands on ;)

So I have found the five best summer reads to recommend for you. I enjoyed reading each book and would love to share my enthusiasm.

5. The Rules of Love & Grammar,  by Mary Simses
It's about writer Grace who retreats to her childhood home at 33. After losing her job, boyfriend, and apartment, she's feeling like a loser and is drawn to her old high school sweetheart. But also to bike shop proprietor Mitch, who helps her deal with issues from the past. This book will make you laugh and cry. A good read.

4. Leaving Lucy Pear, by Anna Solomon
This novel has tons of atmosphere. From the foggy New England location, to the 1920s culture, to the gender politics. You will get lost in this story which truly feels new and fresh.

3. Watching Edie, by Camilla Way
This book will draw comparisons to Gone Girl and The Girl in the Train. Instead this time the girls are facing off against each other instead of the evil man. It just wouldn't be summer without a thriller to keep you hooked.

2. Grace, by Natashia Deón.
In 1840s American South, 15 year old Naomi escapes from her master's plantation in Alabama. But life on the run can be just as dangerous as life in captivity. She takes refuge in a brothel and begins a love affair with a white man. Which leads to a daughter. It's a beautiful read, multi-generational about strong women in one of the darkest eras of American history!

1. One True Loves,  by Taylor Jenkins Reid.
It's about a woman, Emma, who thinks it's finally time to move on years after her husband Jesse went missing in a helicopter expedition over the Pacific, thinking Jesse is dead. She reconnects with Sam, an old friend, and before she knows it they are in love and engaged. But then Jesse is found alive and she finds herself with a husband and fiance and very unsure of who to choose and run to. A very good story and written by a truly genius writer.

Enjoy my selections! Have an awesome day and keep smiling!

The Ten Best Cities In The World To Live & Work!

Happy Monday,

The start of a new week just early in August and it amazes me that there's only four months left to 2016. Where did the last eight months go?? Happily it's in the past where it belongs and hopefully only happier months in the horizon!
Today I want to blog about the ten greatest cities in the world, you would definitely want to live, work, or even have a couple weeks of vacation to enjoy all their unique features and experience their beautiful lifestyles and mega fun tourist spots! Thankfully all the ten cities are spread over the world but beautiful Germany captures three of the ten places. Happy to say none of the Netherlands cities made the list. You really don't want to visit, absurd prices in the shops , unfriendly people and the supermarkets stock very poor quality produce. A bag of potatoes cost more than any other place (double of the UK) and more than half of the potatoes are rotten. They don't even taste as good as British spuds So it is with the onions, cucumbers, are the worst soft and ready to be given to farm animals. But of course I suppose nobody is healthy there and best to just concentrate on eating their fries and snack food :)

But allow me to list the ten fantastic and best cities in the world to live in.

10. Sydney, Australia.
It's Australia's biggest city, built around a beautiful natural harbour. The fact that you can commute to work on the extensive ferry network is a bonus. There are beaches, and the thriving Australian economy.

9. Copenhagen, Denmark.
The most Northern city in the ranking but is a real beauty, if you can deal with the cold winters. The culture is great and it has some of the world's best restaurants.

8. Geneva, Switzerland.
It is home to many departments of the U.N. and the Red Cross. It is truly an international city. It is though one of the most expensive cities to live in and getting a work visa for Switzerland is very difficult. But if you love skiing it's a stones throw from the Alps.

7. Frankfurt, Germany.
This place is gorgeous. It is the financial capitol of Europe. Frankfurt has excellent universities, beautiful architecture (old and new), and 25% of the population are foreign nationals making the cultural diversity a great place to live.

6. Dusseldorf, Germany.
This is the hub of fashion, trade fairs, and home to many global advertising agencies. It's a great place to find work. Plus it's located on the banks of the Rhine with a thriving cultural scene. Not a bad place to call home.

5. Vancouver, Canada.
On the Pacific West Coast, It has a diverse culture with 50% of the population not calling English their first language. Vancouver is a very green city and is committed to becoming the greenest city in the world by 2020. Pretty awesome.

4. Munich, Germany.
It's the third largest city of Germany and famed for the Octoberfest, the 16 day beer and folk festival. It has a lively and vibrant hub. It has the strongest economy and the lowest unemployment rate of any German city.

3. Auckland, New Zealand.
On the Southern hemisphere, it's the biggest urban area in New Zealand It has a strong tourism industry (thanks to Lord of the Rings) and their economy is on the rise.

2. Zurich, Switzerland.
Zurich has the most incredible scenery and is located on the shores of Lake Zurich. A stones throw away from the Alps. A bit of a pricey place but the quality of everything is world class. Worth every penny.

And, 1. Vienna, Austria.
Happy to say I've spent many a vacation in this beautiful city, located on the banks of the river Danube. It has ranked consecutively number one for the last ten years. It has stunning architecture, a proud musical legacy and nicknamed ''the city of dreams'' thanks to it being the home of Sigmund Freud. It's a seriously interesting place to live with great shopping places and very reasonable alcohol prices!

Hope you enjoyed reading this. Keep smiling and have an awesome day.

Love & Peace.

Saturday Outfit Inspiration!

Happy Saturday!

The weekend is here, hurrah. The Olympics got off to a bang yesterday although I struggled to enjoy any part of the opening ceremony, seemed like it was choreographed by someone high on LSD, something about Lucy In The Sky with Diamonds comes to mind. The colors made it all hard to decipher what was going on 'till they zoomed in.. Giselle's long and lonely walk was uninspiring. She lost her sway half way and with all the gossip going around before , that she was to be robbed half way through, to show what happens in Brazil every day , never materialized and left me expecting something that never camein the end !!! Dull.
Then Big Brother shocked half of the UK by throwing out the very lovable ''popular'' Biggins from the back door because of some joke comments he may have made. I thought we lived in a free world, people are entitled to their comments. We hear political incorrectness every day. We are lucky to live in this free world , and whatever the joke was, it was not aired, so it only offended the few people in the vicinity. Why throw him out, it staggers me. the offending behavior, disgusting language, breaking mirrors, spitting in sandwiches and people's mouth, violence is all somehow acceptable. Shaking your bare tits in someone's face, all good. I sincerely believe people need to toughen up, stop being offended, rise above and act like a grown up. In truth it was a joke and Biggins would hardly be out to offend anyone, he is already part of a community that have their own struggles, gays are also still not completely accepted,  along with blacks and other narrow-mindedness. But that's it for now.

Enjoy my outfit selection!

Circumstances/Happiness: Two Separate Paths!

Happy Wednesday!

Today I saw a statement somewhere, ''You can't always change your circumstances. But you can change the way you feel about them. You always have the option of choosing happiness.'' It's a profound and uplifting statement although I have the intense feeling it's a statement from a privileged person. Not always is it possible to change the way we feel about circumstances we find ourselves in! Yes, we can try to be happy but happy is just a state of mind. It always fills me with happiness to see my children but it doesn't feel me with happiness when I know I cannot give my children everything they want. Everything is a bit general but a holiday once a year is also something beyond a single mother's means! No everybody cannot change the way we feel about circumstance, and you know what? It is okay to feel underprivileged, unhappy.  If we didn't feel sadness we would be robots. We wouldn't know how to achieve, how to build something better for ourselves. The tip I always stress to my kids is to build a good life for themselves. Nothing else is more important. If they could have a good life and give themselves everything they wanted it's an achievement. This world is too expensive to think about having more children. Wages need to be increased by more than double if anyone even stands a chance of family life & happiness. We are in a daily battle in this 'rat race of survival' we make daily choices in our lives. Every choice we make is our own and if we feel comfortable at the end of the day, it is the life we are choosing to live! Although talking about our hopes and dreams are a way of sharing. Never feel afraid to talk about your feelings. It will help you overcome anxiety, loneliness, and depression.

There is a quote I love from Proverbs 13.12 ''Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life.''

Keep the hope and don't let the smile fade. Have an awesome day and keep smiling!

Love & Peace.

Pretty Summer Blouses!

Happy Monday!

Beautiful Blouses to add colour and glamour to your wardrobe . Almost everyday , every woman's first thought is what am I going to wear ?
My advice is get at least a couple of new blouses every season and switch them around . Wear them over jeans , skirts , jeggings ,leggings , maxi skirts or denim shorts . So you give the appearance of having a lot of outfits but in truth you are being fashion savvy and getting the best out of a few items .
Some of my favourite blouses would be in bright colours or I would go for darker tones depending on how I feel . Bright colours show your fun , happy disposition but if your feeling grumpy by all means get the black and browns out . One thing to be proud about is not deny yourself your feelings . It is quite okay to be happy and it's equally okay to be sad and cry . Nobody is happy at all times . We are human beings  and we have emotions . If you don't allow your feelings to show you are going to be emotionally unhappy and it's a big weighty burden to carry around . Very often , if I don't like something , I don't hesitate to express my feelings , so I feel better and I can continue with my day without letting it fester .
