Delicious Tomato & Lentil Salad!

Happy Thursday!

I have been enjoying seeing all the photos of the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge on their tour of Canada. Kate has been dressing very smartly, some might say she looks overdressed simply because William has been dressing down. He is very casual with his clothes. I have not seen one picture of him with a tie! Not that I don't like his style, I do, but at the side of Kate he is looking like the poorer relative, lol. I do love his tight trousers no matter what people say and the mis-matched blazer & trousers is definitely his style. What I love about Kate is her love of re-using her clothes and shoes. This tour has seen her using her L.K. Bennet shoes a lot. I also love it that she doesn't use these very expensive designer shoes with red soles that set their price range sky high. I see many European royals flashing these designers ,when most of their citizens are suffering with less money in their wallets due to their governments policies. The Duchess of Cambridge does England proud! But she could do with adding a few more kilos on her bones. Her waist & hips look fragile, and they say the camera adds pounds, so in person she must be even slimmer. I can't blame her though, there is so much scrutiny on public figures that she feels to look glamorous ,means being super slim. Being healthy is more important and that means eating a lot of fruits and vegetables to remain healthy and slim. Look at athletes and see they are fit & super healthy with abs to die for. Toned arms, legs, and great muscles. We all should combine good eating with exercise to keep our bodies toned and healthy for good circulation, so healthy skin and all over good health.
Today I am putting up a recipe of a delicious lentil and tomato salad. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
250g dried Puy or green lentil, rinsed
juice ½ lime and juice ½ lemon
1 tbsp white wine or cider vinegar
1 red onion, thinly sliced into rings
2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
1 tsp ground cumin
1 small garlic clove, crushed
2 tbsp mango chutney
handful coriander, roughly chopped
250g cherry vine tomato, halved
85g baby spinach, washed and thoroughly dried

Instructions:
1. Boil the lentils following pack instructions, drain, rinse well, then drain thoroughly.
2. Meanwhile, mix the citrus juices, vinegar and a pinch of salt in a salad bowl, then toss in the onion rings – after a few mins they will soften and turn pink. Whisk together the oil, cumin, garlic and chutney, then toss into the onions with the cooled lentils, coriander, tomatoes, spinach and plenty of seasoning.

Have an awesome day and keep smiling!

Love & peace.

Slogan Sweatshirts For Autumnal Weather!

Happy Tuesday!

Yesterday was the much awaited first debate of the presidential candidates and everyone has a different opinion on who won! Only in Trump world it's like ''F**k the future of democracy & the world, I'm gonna use my closing seconds to diss Rosie O'Donnell.'' Yes that happened. I have a better temperament than her (Yes it became a comedy show) One was preparing for the white house another to go on the Sean Hannity show. Yes, ask Sean Hannity! Will somebody call Sean! We all need to call Sean , and go to his country club because we all love him (Trump) See!
Here on this side of the pond, Jeremy gave his interview and I was so impressed. He will do wonders for the UK. Improve the state of the hospitals, the people etc. After all Brexit was the people's rebellion it was not about Europeans but the state of the wages, the cuts made, the suffering of the disabled, austerity. Jeremy Corbyn will make the difference. Mark my words! Wars are not the answers. Peace & love! Today I feel strongly about issues on both sides of the Atlantic. Who is going to lead. Who will be better? Change must come peacefully, and for the better!

Slogans are great ways of getting your message across. So today I have slogan sweatshirts as it's getting chilly here in the Autumnal weather! Hope you love these sweats as much as I do.  If I was sporting a sweat today , it would say Happy Birthday Jim 😉

P.M.S. & Pain.. Not Significant Enough For A Remedy!

Happy Sunday!

Jeremy Corbyn won for Labour with a landslide victory.. Hurrah good things can happen now Mr. Corbyn call immediately for an election we cannot have an un-elected PM when the people voted Cameron , he was the leader now Theresa May leads the party ,  but how many people actually want her as the leader ? Grammar schools? I think the UK was doing fine without so many Grammar schools!

Yesterday a little news item pricked my ears up. It seems a huge number of women call in every month sick because of period pain but most are embarrassed to say the real reason. They site headaches, colds, back aches, flu, everything except the real reason. What I want to know is why when we are so advanced  in medicine has no one shrugged up money for research into solving this monthly problem for girls/women? I remember reading somewhere because men really don't believe it happens! If it was a ''man's'' problem I can bet you a long time ago a solution to the problem would have happened. This monthly occurrence troubles a great number of women and even though it does not trouble me every month, at least 3/4 times a year I will be feeling completely unable to do anything for 2 days. I feel weak, pain in my back and stomach ,  be hurts . This is not a problem for guys, and how lucky they must be to escape this monthly loss of blood, fatigue, pain, etc. Hopefully the world will come awake to this problem troubling women all over. Japan and China acknowledge this and women are allowed leave every month without any trouble from the work place. If only Western society also gave us the same benefit. But for now I will still have to reach for my painkillers and hope it's over quick.

Remember a good diet also helps with bringing down the P.M.S. and the eventual pain with the on start of the period.

Have an awesome day and keep smiling!

Love & Peace.

Fruit and Muesli Bowl: A Healthy Breakfast!

Happy Thursday!

The news all over the press is Brad and Angelina. Nobody saw that coming. In the words of Angelina's father, Brad must have done something really serious to provoke such a reaction from Angelina. The praises from Angelina for Brad as a father were always overflowing. He always looked supportive and caring towards the children. Angelina has been hurt to react in such a way towards Brad. It's simple to see Brad's roving eye is well known, and falling for costars . The French actress Marion announcing her pregnancy today in the eye of the storm , is not to be overlooked. She can protest all see wants, the baby is her partner's (she won't want to stoke the fires even more!) but time will tell! I for one don't think Angelina is completely stupid, she did manage to steal Brad from Jen and a man once stolen can be stolen again! She of course won't let him have the kids if he's been busy sowing new seeds. Like the kids he already had were unimportant. If the papparazzi photos are true and the FBI & police are investigating Brad, surely there are more important issues they need to get on with! Angelina aggrieved means she will go to any lengths, she made a pretty good Maleficent!

So while you catch up with all the daily news, staying fit and healthy is always top priority. Here is one of my favorite recipes! Enjoy.

fruit and muesli bowl

Ingredients:
50g butter, plus extra for greasing
125ml clear honey
300g jumbo rolled oats
85g mixed nuts (e.g. macadamia and flaked almonds)
50g desiccated or flaked coconut
1 tsp vanilla extract
85g mixed dried fruits (e.g. cranberries and raisins)
1 tbsp finely chopped crystallised ginger (optional)

To serve
500g pot natural yogurt
1 mango
100g blueberry

Instructions:
1.Place the butter, honey and a pinch of salt in a small saucepan, then melt over a medium heat. Tip the rolled oats, mixed nuts, coconut and vanilla into a large bowl, then pour over the melted butter mixture and stir until everything is well coated.
2. Heat oven to 180C/fan 160C/gas 4. Lightly grease a large baking tray with butter. Tip the muesli mixture onto the tray and spread out until evenly covered. Bake in the oven for 10 mins, then use a spoon to carefully toss the mixture around. Take special care to get into the corners as these may be starting to brown. Cook for 5-10 mins more until the mixture turns a light golden brown. Now mix through the dried fruits and ginger, if using. Leave to cool.
3. To serve, spoon the yogurt into 4 serving bowls. Peel the mango and, cutting around the stone, thinly slice. Put into bowls along with the blueberries, then scatter over the crunchy muesli.

Have an awesome day and keep smiling.

London Fashion Week Brings Fashion Inspiration!

Happy Tuesday!

Fashion week in London is a big thing because all the celebrities, and basically anybody who can get a ticket to a show is eager to go. Even if you can't get to the event, maybe hanging around outside is cool. Get to see the models, the designers, and all the cool kooky people.
Here's my fashion inspiration for if you want to hang out in London or any of the big fashion Capitals of the world. I would choose a bright colored maxi dress. A nice jacket if it gets chilly, and some nice shoes. Hope you love my fashion inspiration as much as I do!

1. Red maxi dress / 22 AUD / Newchic.com
2. Chunky pumps / 39 dollars / Shein.com
3. Military Jacket / 37 dollars / Le3no.com
4. Hoop earrings / 30 euros / popmap.com
5. Triangle tassle bag / 30 dollars / Zaful.com
6. Tiger face buckle / 12 dollars / Luxurydivas.com

On a last thought, Angelina Jolie filed for divorce! Jennifer Aniston must be laughing really hard, and that friends is what you call closure. The saying what goes around comes around, comes to mind. I always thought they would split but after about five years together, I thought okay, it's not going to happen. Aren't they like the only ones holding America together? Okay so maybe now Jeremy Corbyn will get elected on Saturday. He should immediately call for a general election, surely we cannot have an un-elected P.M. going forward un-definitely? The world needs change. Good change, come soon.

Have an awesome day and keep smiling!

Eggs For Breakfast: Delicious & Healthy Recipe!

Happy Sunday!

Today was a cool fresh day. The heatwave long forgotten with a change of weather. It always means coughs, colds, and runny noses. So what better way to wake up and make a nice hearty breakfast. The best way to begin the day is eating, so you are not starving by 11/12/1/2 and you keep snacking at every hour with stuff that's not good for you loaded with sugar. Like biscuits and a whole pack at that. If you eat a good breakfast it will keep you going 'till lunch.
A nice solid breakfast consists of good protein to help build up energy for the day. Eggs are very nutritious and healthy so this egg recipe is one of my favorites for a good breakfast.
Don't forget, if you are going for some oats cereal, feel free to have full fat milk. It's healthy for you and it's a complete myth that it would make you get fat! It's the sugar that we put in our body that gets converted to fat. Don't add too much sugar to your porridge, tea, coffee etc. Stop with the fizzy drinks and indulge in plenty of water.

Vegetable, ham omelette

Ingredients:
2 whole egg and 3 egg whites
1 tsp olive oil
1 red pepper, de-seeded and finely chopped
2 spring onion, white and green parts kept separate and finely chopped
few slices wafer-thin extra-lean ham, shredded
25g reduced-fat mature cheddar
wholemeal toast, to serve (optional)
1-2 chopped fresh tomatoes, to serve (optional)

Instructions:
1.Mix the eggs and egg whites with some seasoning and set aside. Heat the oil in a medium non-stick frying pan and cook the pepper for 3-4 mins. Throw in the white parts of the spring onions and cook for 1 min more. Pour in the eggs and cook over a medium heat until almost completely set.
2.Sprinkle on the ham and cheese and continue cooking until just set in the centre, or flash it under a hot grill if you like it more well done. Serve straight from the pan with the green part of the spring onion sprinkled on top, the chopped tomato and some wholemeal toast.

Enjoy the egg recipe and have an awesome day.

Keep smiling.

Love & Peace.

Bring in the Luck - Crystals & Gemstones Certainly Help!

Happy Friday!

Finally the heat wave is over, parts of England are having torrential downpours and facing some flooding. Thunder and lightning can be scary and I read today one lady went into her backyard to get her washing and was struck by lightning. She credits her miraculous save to her rubber Adidas slippers she bought for 5 pounds. Luck, we all need that. Some need it more than others but we all desperately need it in different areas of our lives. Some need it for money, for protection, peace of mind, good health, luck in business, for advancement in your career, for energy, for a better relationship etc.
But if you ask me, so how are we supposed to get all this luck ? For all the different and varied reasons listed above . I would tell you to turn towards crystals and gemstones. The easiest way to find good luck , is by carrying crystals. Gemstones carry living energy and each one has many different metaphysical and healing properties. Luck is part of the energy of many stones. It's good to experiment to see which gemstone feels good for you , when you hold them in your hand. The gemstone helps change the life force around you and how it can re-enforce good luck in your life .
Recently, even Victoria Beckham revealed she carries crystals in her bag for good energy and luck.

Today I want to say crystals and gemstones are positive things ,bringing good energy, so carrying around one in your bag or keeping a few around your house are very healing. Go ahead and get yourself one for starters. I have always admired the power of crystals and gemstones and proudly own a few, and yes, even I have one in my bag at all times. On a full moon night, put them out for cleansing - it's spiritual!
I shall list a few important gemstones & crystals but if you are looking for something particular, I'm sure you would find it on the net.

1) Need luck in making your dreams come true -- Amethyst or Amazonite.
2) Need luck in your career - Garnet
3) For luck in getting rid of your worries - Aquamarine or Sodalite
4) For luck in marriage or love, a true love stone - Rose Quartz or Emerald
5) For protection - Agate
6) For double luck in any situation - Tourmaline

Amazon.com is a great place to find a huge amount of crystals & gemstones.

Have an awesome day and keep smiling!

Challenging poetry: No Barricades

Happy Wednesday,

I wrote a little (long) poem with a challenging pronunciation theme going on. If you can read this aloud and still enjoy the poetry in it. Kudos. I'm sure you'll love it:

Pronunciation is the key, I'm not barking up a tree.  I'll challenge you to get it right before you write me off and sneer. The words may sound all the same but each one writes a different way. Rude, prude, luede, fancy dude. I'm singing from my own hymn sheet, don't bother me, I've got a fever. Heave me, free me from these sheets. Temperature, thermometer, soaring high thumping, lumping, bruises, band-aids, headaches, bones, banes of life. Shutter, nutter, bowler, wicket keeper. Polo, no not the mints, just sports. Homo sapiens. The plague of rats is still to find, under ploughs in barnyards and mines.
When I think of food fry the steak, rake the hay, butcher the pig, get my bacon, peas beans, all varieties runner, snow, haricots, oven, hobs, burners, gas, barbecue, clay in the East, pots and pans, sugar, barley, cane icing, love it all. Fry my heart with liver and cream in a schezuen pepper fry. Offal is what I am on about, don't be rude and think the worst. I'm here to live and live for as long as it takes. Triple, quadruple, quintuplets, sextuplets, we have had these births in modern times, morality , mortality rates going down all the time.
Trade, raid, loud, proud, gingerly all approximately how it's battered and battered these days, those trades pouncing on prey, prancing dancers in ballet theaters don't actually care starving thin.
Anorexia, bulimia, eating disorders haunting the young today. Models, viscounts, princesses, dames, knights at night all out to get the best from life. Travelling places, astronauts, space, orbit, universe, finding aliens, life on mars, Rovers, Chevrolet, Jaguars, Honda, Hyundai, did I miss your favorite car?
I'm just skiing on a sleigh. Don't slay the dragon. Stunning stunts, don't play tyrant , truants just attend the school.
Roll the dough, make the dollar, find your soul, don't devour the innocent. Insolence, anger, find the hammer, trash the bin, don't live in sin. So old fashioned. Pondering demons, long drowned sorrows, horrors all past with the years.
Happy free, find the font , the priest, my kiddos need to be baptized. Love, heave, sighing, frown, I'm not a clown I just love make-up. Don't freeze me out, you sleaze. I"m not a tart, just finding myself. This is not true yet, I'm not a prude.
Mountains, valleys, craters, geizers, gauge, yet that geezer down the road is so handsome, should I intrude, knock on door, rocking the look, hot chick, thick black eyeliner, chains and locks, maybe a rock on the finger soon if I linger long enough to become unforgettable.
But baby I'm no singer since the cradle, I can wabble and catch a note, tenor, alto, soprano, I'm not.
Find me in the lounge, star gazing. Into the sky colors like mauve, blue, pink, teal, shapes round, square, triangle, stars, diamonds and pyramids. Float , gloat , glowing!
Flowers. Love them lotus, dandelions, poppies, lilies, blue-bells, sunflowers, stroke of midnight, night, night folks.. Karma, nightmares, weeping willows, candy canes, love them all. Bitter, sweet ,casual, rampant, rowdy,  passive, happy, radiant, blooming in the sunshine!
Fostering, floating, fumbling, flame , frame me ravished, famished !

Barricades and
Happy days!

Keep smiling.

Tuesday's Tasty Vegetable Rice Bowl!

Happy Tuesday!

The week promised to be warm but it's brought a nice little heat wave. It still hasn't broken the record set in 1906, when temperatures hit 35 degrees Celsius in September, but today was a warm, balmy 29-30 degrees Celsius where I am! Nice weather even though I was dripping sweat (yikes!) as I went out on a long walk!

Anne Hathaway's new movie ''Colossal'' is debuting at the Toronto Film Festival. I wonder if she's accepting these kind of indie movies because she has no other offers? If she was looking for a weird movie she made the right choice. she develops a kind of strange psychic connection to a Godzilla type monster on the other side of the earth, Seoul, and while he's causing havoc and destruction, she sort of mirrors the chaos in the US. She's basically an alcoholic in the movie and it's an alcoholism drama and dark comedy. Te movie struggles on many levels and doesn't go far enough in the odd-ball category. It's a fail, trying but not hitting the mark. If they wanted to make a woman with a Godzilla like connection perhaps they should have made the movie more bizarre! It should be hitting the UK screens but I imagine it's not going to pull in the crowds.

Today I would like to share a recipe of a rice bowl! The recipe is delicious and has a lot of vegetables. It's a great healthy choice! Healthy and good for our bodies. Enjoy!

Vegetable Rice Bowl

Ingredients:
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 x 120g pack Tenderstem broccoli tips, halved lengthways
1 red pepper, seeded and cut into chunks
1 x 160g pack marinated tofu pieces
2 x 250g pouches microwave rice
200g (7oz) frozen peas
1 tbsp sesame seeds
3 spring onions, chopped

For the sauce
1 red chilli, seeded and finely chopped
1 garlic clove, crushed
2.5cm (1in) piece fresh ginger, grated
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
1 tbsp rice wine vinegar

Instructions:
Heat the oil in a wok. Add the broccoli and pepper and stir-fry, over a high heat, for 3 minutes. Add the tofu and cook for 1-2 minutes, until crisp.
Tip in the rice and stir-fry for 4 minutes, breaking up the grains as they warm. Stir through the peas and cook for a further 2-3 minutes.
Meanwhile, make the sauce. Mix the chilli, garlic, ginger, soy, sweet chilli sauce and vinegar in a bowl. Pour it over the rice mixture and toss until coated and warmed through. To serve, spoon into bowls and scatter over the sesame seeds and spring onions.

Have an awesome day and keep smiling!

Monday's Flares, Pretty Cool Outfit!

Happy Monday!

Fashion week has started in the U.S, and today Victoria Beckham showcased her collection in New York. Anna Wintour broke into a smile a few times, so everyone concluded her fashion collection was a success! I personally can't criticize her collection because I did like some of the designs as well as the long flowing flared trousers which is already a big hit this season and will probably continue into next Spring if VB's designs are to go by!
I can say with hand on heart her models used in the runway show are no examples and definitely not with figures any girl should have. While all the models to prove how well they eat uploaded loads of photos with food on their Instagram, FB, and twitter pages. But of course posing with food does not say you actually ate it. No I don't think they eat or are fit and healthy. Their diet consists of a piece of fruit and loads of cups of green tea with lemon. If any one wants to be fit and healthy, look at the athletes at the Olympics. They eat well, train hard and are capable of gold medals, have a great figure like that of Jessica Ennis, Paula Radcliffe, to name a few. I love their abs, their toned arms and yes they actually eat healthy and more than models.

Hope you love my selection of outfit for the day. The casual loose top can be tucked into the trousers and look super cool. One of the things VB has said is she now loves to wear flat sandals and doesn't live in sky high heels. If you want to get away with flats, a nice wide legged trousers will allow you to still look tall as well as give you comfort. Enjoy the outfit, all designs are affordable, unlike VB's clothes tailored for the rich.

4 Make-up Mistakes Women in Their 30's and 40's Make!

By the time most women reach their 30's & 40's, they find a make-up routine they are comfortable with. But those fine lines and little wrinkles which keep unexpectedly popping up, here are small ways to correct those little mistakes you make ,so that those little lines look less unsightly.

1. Skipping lip liner.
It tends to get a bad rap when it is used incorrectly and you see a noticeably obvious line around the mouth. If you use it correctly, it can prevent lipstick from smearing and bleeding. It can make lips that are thin or starting to lose collagen look fuller. Do use a lip liner with a neutral colored pencil, outline your lips and then be sure to fill in your whole pout with the pencil. Top it up with your favorite lipstick or lip gloss. Your lips will look sexier, fuller, and younger. And you can count on your lipstick lasting longer.

2. Not hydrating enough.
You have probably noticed your skin feels drier than it used to be 10 years ago. Dry skin grabs on to makeup much more, so that wrinkles and pores appear more obvious. The surface of the skin appears bumpy instead of smooth. Hydrated skin allows make-up to blend effortlessly and reflects light all of which makes skin appear younger.
Be sure to prep your skin before applying any make-up with a hydrating primer or balm that smooths skin. By using a primer you'll find you need to use less make-up and it all blends in well, and that your skin is plump with moisture. Don't forget to hydrate with beauty's longtime BFF, water. It benefits your skin from inside out!

3. Liner and mascara under your eyes.
Focus on opening your eyes out with an eyelash curler. Then use your favorite mascara from root to tip to slowly help your eyes look more awake. If you want to add more definition with eyeliner, stick to the top lid alone. Consider using shades like chocolate brown or navy blue. Black is too harsh as you get older.

4. Not exfoliating weekly.
If you don't use a good face scrub weekly, the texture of your face is flaky and uneven. By removing the dead skin cells, the face looks brighter, more even tone, and you will have a natural glow. Whether you use a face scrub or a fruit acid exfoliate, or a hand held tool, it's essential for a radiant glowing make-up finish.

Hope you enjoyed these tips. Keep smiling and have an awesome day.

Love & Peace.

Fashionable Denim Jumpsuits as the Days Get Cooler!

Happy Friday!

Today's outfit selection is denim jumpsuits. Long gone are the days when the dungarees or overalls were solely used for workmen or rough work around the farm, house etc. Nowadays they are more fashionable and looks stylish enough to be worn on a lunch time date, Saturday shopping spree with the girls or to your Grans for Sunday lunch. Style them with a big flashy necklace or some show stopping earrings. Here are my favorite four denim jumpsuits which are absolutely adorable. As Autumn is not so far off, the denim is going to keep your legs warm. Throw a sweater over and it's hip enough for woman from their 20's to their 50's! Rock it with modern day style!

Finding Dory is back again in some theaters in the country. Don't forget to see it if you missed it the first time Ellen DeGeneres sounds even more beautiful second time round! :)

Beautiful Flowered & Patterned Trousers/Leggings!

Happy Tuesday!

Today I want to feature flowered trousers/leggings in my blog. I particularly love flowered trousers/leggings and sport them often. They are comfortable and very attractive. Not only do they show off your figure, but no point in hiding a beautiful booty. No matter what size your booty is, I say flaunt it!

1. Floral print trousers / 12 pounds / Johnlewis.com
2. windowpane trousers / 32 CAD / Nordstrom.com
3. Tropical wide leg / 21 dollars / Missselfridge.com

I was very pleased to see the Duchess of Cambridge a few days ago wearing some flowered trousers. Although some of the comments about them were very unkindly, I must say Catherine has remarkable taste and yes, people do wear flowered of pattern leggings/trousers. If I remember correctly, the beautiful, fashionable Princess Diana also sported them a couple of times! Princess Diana will always be remembered by me for her elegance, style, compassion, and family orientation. She will always be a Queen in my book. Queen of people's hearts like she wanted. Nobody has forgotten her even though this last week it was 19 years ago that she passed away. Camilla may think she can rise above all the deceit and pain she caused Princess Diana but Diana had class and a way with the people that was genuine. She had problems, but that made her so like one of us. Prince Charles certainly didn't help, by turning his attention away from her. There are people in this world who need to be loved and are needy for affection (nothing wrong with it!) But Camilla did all she could to get what she wanted. No the British people will never accept her as their queen. Sorry Charles! Wallis Simpson, another selfish woman, did all she could and almost destroyed the monarchy. I look forward to the day when Charles is crowned and Camilla remains the Duchess, or better, he should pass the crown over to William, Although I think he waited too long to pas up his chance of taking the throne!

Long live the Queen Elizabeth, who is doing such a great job!

Have an awesome day and keep smiling.

Love & Peace.

Outfit Inspiration: Trouser Suit !

Happy Monday,

Today's outfit inspiration is a trouser suit. It's very smart looking and if you have any business to attend to or if you work in an office environment it's very suitable. I have added accessories so it could be worn for any occasion.  A chic lunch, dinner appointment, or a nice date!

I was inspired to put together a suit after seeing our PM at the G20 summit in China. Her trouser suit was so bland and more masculine in cut (very unsuitable for a woman). Flared trousers are very in style and you don't necessarily need to wear a matching jacket. Go for a little contrast which sets you apart in style and trend. Hope you like my selection.

2. Strappy heels clear / 30 pounds / ego.co.uk
3. White contrast zip blazer / 29 euro / withchic.com
4. Pinstripe kinomo top / 30 dollars / renttherunway.com

In other news, Poldark was every bit as exciting as I hoped. (Spoilers ahead). It had me glued to the telly as it ended with Francis putting the gun to his head. I don't think he actually manages to get it done (commit suicide). Because in the original book, Francis drowns in the mines. I wonder if they will keep the series true to the novel!
The MP's of the country always have some extra activity on the side to get themselves into trouble! Keith Vaz, the MP should resign immediately. And disappear from the public eye. The sleaze bag has no shame. A married man with two children hiring male prostitutes , for sexual gratification, I am so appalled! What is it with these men? His wife managed to look sheepish walking out of their house today with her husband (looks like she's standing by him, lol!) On the other hand, I guess she's sticking with him because he has money. It's hard being a single mum and having responsibilities. (I should know.. hm). Maybe I should take a two timing git if I could have someone share my responsibilities. lol.

Have an awesome day and keep smiling!

Love & Peace.

September 22nd 'Fertility Day' Would You Have Children?

Happy Friday!

Today a brand new episode of ''Goodnight Sweetheart'' was telecast on BBC one. I waited almost all week for it and it didn't disappoint. I hope everyone managed to see it and if not, catch up with it on iPlayer! As a big fan of the original series I could not miss this. Nicholas Lyndhurst  and all the cast were older but nobody lost their charm. I'm not going to give away any spoilers but Gary time travels back again to 2016 and he is in for a shock with all the modern technology. The smartphone/tablet, (he thought the girl was sick!) it was funny and heart warming!

On to other things, and a little news article I read today. Seems like the population in Italy is falling rapidly. Why am I not surprised? Actually I reckon the population of all Europe is going to be falling. The economic situation of all the people does not give stability so why would young people want to have children? So the health minister of Italy, Beatrice Lorenzin, has announced that September 22nd is going to be ''fertility day'' to encourage family planning. They have launched a website, series of promotional images, a computer game to rouse interest. Although all this gearing up the public is having a rather negative reaction and sparking up a outrage all over Italy. Maybe it's the slogan ''Beauty has no age, but fertility does.'' ''Young parents the best way to be creative.'' It's pretty ironic ''young parents'' when most of the Italian youth, 42%, is currently unemployed. Not a situation you would want to bring a child into! In fact, a lot of young girls don't want kids and I completely support the idea. Today, what people earn is just about enough for one person to struggle by in, how could anyone support a family. I am completely against bringing children into the world you can't afford to support. Until the world decides to give every person over 18 years old an allowance and what you work and earn , is an added bonus, nobody should bring kids into this world and struggle while the top bosses of companies and businesses just get richer while the common people suffer !
I think this ''Fertility day'' is an outrage and a farce. Make people richer, increase the wages by 100% and oh yes, I completely support the Jr. doctors going on strike. More power to them! I say stand up and protest! Make us richer, we deserve it. Our children deserve it. Stop building rockets and space probes, looking for life on other planets while life here on planet earth goes to the dogs. I think every government should be ashamed of how they mis-manage their power over the public money and taxes! Make a change and be the change!

Look after yourselves and have an awesome day. Keep smiling!

Love & Peace.
